Orchids, only if you plant them like this they grow quickly and don’t rot
To ensure the flourishing growth of orchids without the risk of rot, follow this exclusive method. Orchids, renowned for their delicate care requirements, thrive when planted using this technique, allowing them to bloom consistently throughout the year. Here’s the insider’s secret:
Orchids, often regarded as challenging to nurture, demand specific attention to their unique growth patterns. Unlike typical plants, orchids possess roots prone to rapid decay if not managed correctly.
To counteract this, start by acquiring a 5-liter plastic bottle. Remove the cap and cut a sizable square opening to accommodate the orchid. Next, create drainage holes at the bottle’s base using a small knife. Alternatively, pierce the cap to insert a wire or hanger for versatile placement, even suspending the orchid from a balcony.
Now, carefully remove the orchid from its pot, discarding old soil and trimming damaged roots. Meanwhile, prepare a natural fertilizer solution by combining 500 ml of water with two crushed garlic cloves. After filtering, use a cotton ball soaked in this garlic-infused water to cleanse the orchid’s leaves, effectively safeguarding against fungal growth with the garlic’s antiseptic properties.
Submerge the orchid’s roots in the garlic solution for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, gather pine bark, available at nurseries. Assemble the final setup by placing small sponge pieces at the bottom of the transparent plastic bottle, followed by a layer of pine bark. Reintroduce the orchid, previously soaked in the garlic solution, and cover its roots with more pine bark. Water the soil using the garlic-infused solution.
Repeat this process biweekly to witness your orchid flourishing with vibrant blooms and robust roots all year round. This meticulous approach ensures optimal growth and longevity for these exquisite plants.
